A communal day of creative remembering, play, and re-rooting
This March, you’re invited to step away from urgency, obligation, and survival-mode and return to yourself through creativity.
The Community Day of Dreaming is a 5–6 hour, in-person gathering facilitated and divined by Nyasha Williams, held in an intimate group of 10–15 people. This is an interactive workshop. This is a day you enter with your body, your imagination, and your willingness to play.
The location will be shared privately with registered participants approximately 1–2 weeks before the event. The secrecy is intentional. This day is designed to feel held, protected, and set apart from the noise of everyday life.
What This Day Is For
This day is for people who feel the quiet (or loud) call to:
Reignite their creativity
Make room for play again
Break cycles that no longer serve them
Try something new or remember something they once loved
Re-root in themselves beneath fear, productivity, and expectation
Together, we will decolonize, Indigenize, and liberate ourselves through creativity, using play as a serious and sacred tool for remembering who we are.
This work is not done alone. It is done in community.
What We’ll Be Doing
Every Day of Dreaming is different.
Rather than following a rigid agenda, Nyasha listens: to the moment, the season, and the people gathered to shape what unfolds. Creativity is the container, but the form is open.
You might find yourself:
Moving your body
Cooking or working with food
Collaging, crafting, or working with paper
Painting, drawing, or working with color
Dancing, modeling, or playing with clay
Sitting in reflection, conversation, or imagination
You do not need to be “good” at any of this. There is no expertise required. We release perfection. The only real invitation is openness, a willingness to try, to play, or to remember something you thought you lost.
There are no creative-limits at The Dreaming Table.
What The Dreaming Table Is
The Dreaming Table is a practice of collective creative freedom.
Each gathering is designed to help participants:
Re-root in themselves beneath obligation and survival
Reignite creativity and play
Gain clarity about what’s next and what’s calling
Remember their “golden thread”: the essence of who they are
Reconnect to soul mission and creative purpose
The deeper intention behind every Dreaming Table gathering is simple and expansive:
For our communities and our world to become collectively and creatively freer, every day.
We go beyond talking about creative freedom; we practice it. Together.
Why Community Matters
These Community Days of Dreaming exist because remembering how to dream together matters.
While one-on-one work with Nyasha is available separately, these gatherings are specifically about:
Being witnessed in your becoming
Practicing play in community
Remembering imagination as a shared resource
Experiencing how expansive we can be, together
There is a particular kind of magic that happens when people gather with care, curiosity, and intention. This is an invitation back into that shared field.
An Invitation
If you feel called to make room this spring, for play, for creativity, for curiosity, for something new, you are welcome here.
If this invitation is igniting your spirit, trust that.
Come sit.
Come dream.
Come imagine.
Come play.
I would be honored to hold space for your creative unfolding, your remembering, and your return to yourself.
Frequently Asked Questions

Creative re-ignition or renewal
Space away from productivity, urgency, or survival-mode
A deeper relationship with imagination and curiosity
Community that is intentional, intimate, and grounded
You do not need to identify as an artist. You do not need prior experience with creative practices. This day is about remembering.
Who is this not for?
This may not be the right fit if:
You’re looking for a traditional class, lecture, or step-by-step workshop
You’re not open to experimentation, play, or trying something unfamiliar
You prefer highly structured, outcome-driven environments
You’re seeking therapy or crisis support (this is a creative gathering, not a clinical space)
This day asks for presence, openness, and a willingness to engage.
How many people will be there?
This is an intimate gathering of 10–15 participants. The small size is intentional and central to the experience.
How long is the gathering?
Please plan for 5–6 hours, including breaks. We’ll move at a human pace.
Where will this take place?
The exact location will be shared privately with registered participants 1–2 weeks before the event.
This is a held, intentionally chosen space, and the delayed reveal helps protect the container.
What will we actually be doing?
Each Day of Dreaming is different. Activities may include movement, crafting, collaging, cooking, painting, writing, or other forms of creative play.
There is no pressure to be “good” at anything.
Do I need to be creative or artistic?
No. Creativity is understood here as a human capacity, not a skillset. Curiosity and openness matter more than experience.
What should I bring?
You’ll receive a more detailed note closer to the event, but generally:
Comfortable clothes you can move and create in
A water bottle
Anything that helps you feel grounded (journal, small personal item, layers)
All core materials will be provided unless otherwise noted.
Accessibility
We are committed to creating a space rooted in care.
Specific accessibility details (physical access, seating options, sensory considerations, etc.) will be shared once the location is confirmed. If you have access needs or questions, you’re warmly invited to reach out before registering so we can discern together whether this gathering is a good fit.
Is food provided?
Two meals and snacks are provided. We aim to nourish participants in ways that feel thoughtful and aligned with the day.
Can I attend if I’m nervous about being in community?
Yes. Many people arrive feeling tender, unsure, or a bit nervous. You are not expected to share more than you want to. Listening and observing are valid forms of participation.
Is this a spiritual or religious event?
The Dreaming Table is rooted in Ancestral remembrance, decolonization, and creative liberation, but this is not a religious service. Participants of varied backgrounds and belief systems are welcome, as long as they come with respect and openness.
What’s the intention behind this gathering?
The intention is for participants and our wider world to become collectively and creatively freer. This is a space to practice that freedom in real time, together.
How do I know if this is right for me?
If reading this invitation feels like a quiet yes or even a curious tug, that’s usually enough. Trust what’s stirring.
